Music Ministry

Adult Choir - Our adult choir meets together in the sanctuary choir loft for rehearsal on Wednesday evenings.  Rehearsals begin immediately after the House of Prayer (8:00 p.m.) and last until 9:00 p.m.  While this is a time of fun and fellowship shared among our choir members, it is also a great time spent learning about our Savior through song.  During our Sunday morning worship services, our Adult Choir is available to share gospel, praise and worship arrangements that we have practiced during rehearsals.  For additional information about our Adult Choir, please contact the church at 706-259-8519 or glbc@grovelevel.org.

 

Children’s Choir - Children grades 1-5 practice weekly (during the school year) on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m.  September-December our Children’s Choir enjoys learning a musical arrangement that they will present for an evening worship service during the Christmas season.  January-May they prepare a Spring Musical that centers around the love of Jesus.  Children who are a part of Children’s Choir will enjoy learning musical arrangements for their age.  They will learn more about Jesus.  They will learn how to share Jesus with others.  For more information about our Children’s Choir, please contact the church at 706-259-8519 or glbc@grovelevel.org.

 

Preschool Choir - Children who are ages 4 and 5 practice weekly (during the school year) on Wednesday evenings, 6;15.  This is a time for children to fellowship and learn musical arrangements for their age group.  It is also a time that will prepare them for Children’s Choir.  For more information about our Preschool Choir, please contact the church at 706-259-8519 or glbc@grovelevel.org.

 

Handbell Choir - Our Handbell Choir practices on Sunday afternoons at 5:30 p.m. in the Adult Choir Room.  Periodically they will share special arrangements that they have prepared during our worship services.  We always look forward to hearing our Handbell Choir during Christmas and Easter worship services.  For more information about our Handbell Choir, please contact the church at 706-259-8519 or glbc@grovelevel.org.

 

Special Events—At least three times a year our Adult Choir leads our congregation in worship through music.  Christmas, Easter and our Patriotic Service for the Fourth of July.  These are great times of celebration.  A time when our congregation is able to learn about our Savior’s birth, death and resurrection in song, narration and drama.  It is a time to celebrate our freedom.  For more information about our Special Events, please contact the church at 706-259-8519 or glbc@grovelevel.org.
